Privacy, in plain language.

1. Joining the waitlist

When you join, we store your first name, last name, email address and the optional reason you give, along with when you submitted. Please don’t include sensitive information about yourself or other people in your answer.

The Xenia team uses them to manage the waitlist and contact you about Xenia. You aren’t added to a marketing list.

This website doesn’t use advertising trackers or marketing analytics. Standard technical information is processed to deliver and secure the website.

2. Notes about your people

The Xenia app stores your relationship profiles and notes on your device locally. Xenia doesn’t keep a central copy of them.

Phone numbers you add to a profile, typed or picked from Contacts, stay on your device and are never sent to Xenia or to our AI providers. When you pick from Contacts, Xenia sees only the contact you tap.

When you use AI features, some content is sent for processing, as described below. Only add information you have a right to use.

3. How AI features work

Some features use AI. For these, the app sends the content the feature needs to Anthropic, our AI provider, and the result comes back to your app:

• Saving a note: the note, plus the names and companies of your people and the labels you use, so the note reaches the right person.
• Search: your question and your notes about your people.
• Group suggestions: your people’s profiles and notes, and your existing groups.
• About you: your recent notes and a short summary of your people.
• Text drafts: both people’s profiles and notes, what they share, and a few texts you sent from Xenia before, so the draft sounds like you. Phone numbers are never sent. Xenia keeps your recent sent texts on your device for this.
• Screenshots: the text Xenia reads from them on your device. The screenshots themselves are never uploaded.

Voice capture sends the audio to OpenAI for transcription.

The app asks your permission before sending anything for the first time, and you can withdraw it at any time under Privacy & account.

Anthropic deletes what it receives within 30 days, OpenAI’s logging is turned off for Xenia, and neither uses your notes to train its models. Xenia doesn’t store this content.

AI results can be wrong, and you decide what to act on. Xenia never sends a text or reaches out to anyone for you: drafts open in Messages, and nothing goes until you tap Send.

4. Your calendar

Connecting a calendar is optional. If you do, about an hour after a meeting with other people, Xenia asks who was worth remembering.

Xenia can read Apple Calendar, or connect to Google Calendar with read-only access.

What Xenia reads: event titles, times, and the names and email addresses of the people invited. Events are read on your device and are never sent to Xenia. Xenia never adds, changes or deletes events.

What Xenia keeps: for each after-event nudge, your device keeps the event title and the attendees not yet in Xenia, until the nudge leaves your list. If you save someone you met, their name becomes part of their profile and is handled like any other note (section 3). Analytics record only that a calendar was connected, disconnected or paused, and, for Apple Calendar events, how many attendees an event had.

Your controls: pause reading under Settings › Calendar. Disconnect Google to remove Xenia’s access from your device and ask Google to revoke it. For Apple Calendar, turn off Calendars for Xenia in your device’s Settings. Reset data and Delete account remove calendar data from your device.

Xenia’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used only for after-event nudges and the names you choose to save. It isn’t used for advertising, isn’t sold, and isn’t used to train AI models.

5. Account and usage information

You sign in with Apple or Google. We store your sign-in email and an account ID. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email, we store the private relay address.

The app also records how features are used and how the app performs, linked to your account ID. Feature usage is recorded by Amplitude, our analytics provider. This covers actions and counts, such as that a note was saved or a text was drafted, and never the content of your notes, your people’s names or contact details, your searches, your texts or your calendar events. There’s no separate off switch; Amplitude’s records are deleted on request.

6. Keeping and deleting information

Reset data removes your people, notes, phone numbers, groups, nudges, saved texts and the About you paragraph from your device. You stay signed in.

Delete account, under Privacy & account, removes your sign-in email and usage data from Xenia, signs you out everywhere, removes Xenia from Sign in with Apple, disconnects Google Calendar, and erases everything Xenia stored on that device. Performance records expire on their own within three months. Uninstalling the app doesn’t delete your account.

Your sign-in email is kept for 90 days after you last sign in. To delete Amplitude’s records or your waitlist details, or to ask what we hold about you, email support@getxenia.app.

7. Changes and contact

We’ll update this page as Xenia changes, and explain material changes before they take effect.
